Jack Smith is the LGBT editor at Time Out Beijing. Jack began researching sexology and LGBT issues while at the University of Edinburgh, where he wrote his graduate thesis on portrayals of same-sex relationships in contemporary Chinese cinema. He lives in Beijing with his husband Eddy.
