Our Photo of the Day series this week shares photos from this year’s Tattoo Extreme & Body Art Expo in Shanghai.
In addition to onsite tattooing and industry pow-wows, the expo also hosts a tattoo catwalk competition. It’s very much like a bodybuilding competition. The only difference is that the contestants are showing off their ink rather than their muscle definition. The amount of clothing worn is the same.
Shanghai Tattoo Extreme is an annual event which was established in the summer of 2015. The event showcases noteworthy tattooists and body artists from both China and other countries around the world.
