About RADII
RADII (rā’dē-ī’) is an independent multimedia platform based in Hong Kong SAR that
focuses on sharing vibrant stories from the rarely explored sides of modern Asian
culture. The company’s mission is to captivate the world through stories that transcend
boundaries.
RADII Editorial Internship (Shanghai)
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute features and short-form articles for the RADII website
- Monitor Chinese news and trends, highlighting potential topics for coverage on website or social media platforms
- Assist RADII team with research, transcription, or translation related to other articles and content
- Interns will be expected to present at least one news roundup report and two short-form articles per week, or equivalent workload as set by the supervisor
- Depending on skills and interest, assist RADII team in other ways, e.g. joining in
- on video shoots, photography, etc.
An ideal candidate:
- Has high-level English skills and an interest in writing. Strong Chinese skills are a plus, but not essential
- Is deeply interested in topics including, but not limited to, youth culture, technology, art, music, film, fashion, and sports in the context of contemporary China and Asia
- Experience in journalism is a plus, but not essential
Additional details:
- Daily internship duties may be performed remotely if needed, but candidates based in Shanghai and available to work together with RADII’s local team are strongly preferred.
